  • If you’re anywhere in Wisconsin, we can work together! My practice is fully virtual, which means that whether you’re in Milwaukee, Madison, or cozied up in the northwoods, as long as you’ve got internet and a private, comfortable place to chat, we can do therapy together!

  • Online therapy works just as well as in-person therapy - in fact, many of my clients have found that they like it even better. When you’re in the comfort of your own home, it can make digging into the sometimes-tough stuff feel a little bit more accessible.

  • Yes! I am in network with many major insurance carriers, including Aetna, Optum, Cigna, United, UMR and many of their subplans. If you have specific questions about whether your insurance is accepted, please reach out via my contact form and I’ll be happy to help.

  • For those who’d like to pay for sessions outright or not use insurance benefits, my fees are $165/session. I also take out of network (OON) benefits and HSA/FSA cards for those not within those networks. (Ask me about using your OON benefits - I promise it’s easier than it sounds!)

  • Our first appointment is really just where we lay the foundation. I work really hard behind the scenes to find connection and begin to build our therapeutic relationship right from the start in order to make the process as comfortable as possible from day one. In the intake session, I’ll ask you a bit about your past, but mainly I’ll ask what brings you to therapy, and why right now - we’ll figure out how you want your life to look six months or a year from now, and we’ll immediately start roadmapping the plan to get there.

  • Like with anything, it varies based on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for short-term solutions to an acute problem - awesome. We can get you there, and probably pretty quickly! If you’re digging into some struggles that have been with you for a while and likely have some connections to your past, it may take us a bit longer, but will pay off for years to come.

Most of my clients see me on average for a year or two, but we’ll decide together what feels best to you. And even my therapy graduates are always welcome back if and when life throws another curveball and you just need a little support!

  • If you aren’t using insurance for your care, you are entitled to what’s called a Good Faith Estimate - a breakdown of expected costs for your care. This courtesy is provided for you under the No Surprises Act - so that when it comes to your care, there are truly no surprises about what you are expected to pay for services.
